Meet Kate, Owner & Photographer
I'm Kate Lang, owner of Tyler Brooke Photography! When I'm not photographing sweet families, you can find me in Tony Lama boots, hanging outdoors with my darling little family. I work in my natural light photography studio located in Albuquerque for newborn, baby, and maternity sessions and enjoy photographing family portrait sessions on-location in the bosque or foothills. I travel all over New Mexico for weddings and photograph about 100 sessions each year! Last but not least, you may be wondering where 'Tyler Brooke' originated from. Tyler Brooke is derived from my girls' middle names, Ava Brooke & Lauren Tyler.
Meet Emily, Studio Manager
Emily Melville is our new Studio Manager, and Assistant. A Colorado native, but raised and educated in Albuquerque; she attended the University of New Mexico where she studied political science and musical theatre. She'll be the one behind the scenes, running the website, writing blogs, and managing the workflow. She'll also be helping in-studio with petite and newborn shoots, as well as lending a hand with toddlers and older siblings. Emily fits the Tyler Brooke brand with her love of photography, nature, children, and weddings.
Meet Rachel, Associate Lead Photographer
My name is Rachel Standifird. I have had a passion for photography since I was a little girl. I began my photography career photographing friends and family. I got my start in wedding photography in 2010 subcontracting with a studio here in Albuquerque and have been working as a professional photographer ever since. I am excited to be a part of the Tyler Brooke team and to be able to bring my skills and experience to our clients.
