Hi there! I'm Erica, the owner and photographer of Puddles and Pearls! As a certified professional photographer, I am highly trained and educated in safe newborn posing and care. My ultimate goal is to help you create beautiful, timeless artwork that you will be proud to display in your home. I believe in building as many memories as we can and documenting life as we go.

Safety Precautions
As a newborn photographer, we understand the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of your newborn child. All of our newborn photography sessions are carefully planned and executed to ensure the safety and comfort of your baby. Our photographer has received extensive training in safe posing and handling of newborns and is certified in infant CPR.
Credentials
As a photographer, I have trained and mentored under several highly qualified newborn photographers and have 6 years of experience in the field of newborn photography. I am also a certified professional photographer through the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and hold a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art with a focus in painting.
When to Book
It's always best to book your session as early as possible to ensure availability. We typically book sessions 1-3 months in advance. For maternity sessions, we recommend booking at 30-36 weeks gestation. For newborn sessions, we recommend booking between 6 and 14 days after birth.
What to Wear
For family sessions, we recommend wearing solid neutral colors to ensure the focus remains on the baby and the emotional connection between the family. For newborn sessions, we have a collection of outfits, wraps, bonnets, and headbands available for the baby.
Image Delivery
After your session, you can view your gallery immediately or we can meet back at the studio 1-2 weeks after your session to select your printed artwork for your home. Purchased images will be fully edited with digital portraits delivered to your email 1-2 weeks after your order appointment. Printed artwork will be ready 6-8 weeks after the ordering appointment.
