Our journey began in a small town near Ann Arbor, Michigan, where founder John Shultz discovered his passion for photography. Inspired by the transformative power of images, John pursued a degree in Journalism and Fine Art, later honing his skills in a diverse range of art forms including writing, photography, dance, acting, and studio art. This diverse foundation led him to found his own portrait studio in Ann Arbor in 1982, where he has documented generations of families in the Ann Arbor area.
