Who We Are

Greetings! Welcome to Anecdottally Yours, where we capture life's most precious moments through our lens. We are a husband-and-wife duo, Jeff and Erica Short, who have been telling stories through photography and videography for over 15 years. Our journey began in 2007 as a photography team, and we later discovered the art of videography in 2010. We merged our two passions in 2012, and since then, we've been privileged to capture the stories of people from all over the world.

As we share our journey, we'd like to introduce ourselves. We're Jeff and Erica Short, a loving couple residing in the Kansas City area. With a passion for storytelling, we create films and photos that reflect the authenticity and uniqueness of our clients. After 15 years of creating memories for our clients, Erica is no longer actively photographing weddings, but we still offer limited dates for wedding videography because we truly love documenting special days with special people.

What We Love

We're a family-oriented bunch and cherish spending time with our three kids. Traveling to new places, exploring local hidden gems, and hosting friends in our home are some of our favorite pastimes. We also make time for movie nights (yes, even animated kids' shows now!), which have become family traditions.
