Our journey began when Michael Keel, the studio's founder, discovered his passion for photography at a young age. Inspired by his father's profession as an archaeologist, Michael joined his father on excavation sites, where he witnessed the importance of photography in recording history. At age 12, he began shooting, developing, and printing his own pictures. Later, he worked in a campus photography studio while attending Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

After arriving in New York City in his early 20s, Michael worked as a photo assistant and eventually opened his own studio. Starting with portraits, he expanded his business to include fashion catalog, commercial advertising, and architectural photography. With the rise of e-commerce, Michael's expertise in retouching has become highly sought after by still-life clients.

Throughout his career, Michael has worked with numerous high-profile clients, including celebrities like Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Hugo Boss, Kelly Preston, Tom Cruise, and Penelope Cruz. His work has been showcased in exhibitions, such as the Bond Street Gallery, and has been recognized for his artistic approach to portraiture.
