Howdy, I'm Kevin. I am a photographer in Rapid City, and I love living in the Black Hills! I've been a photographer for my whole career, starting as a photo assistant in Los Angeles working with a variety of photographers from car shoots, fashion, food, product, and editorial. Landing back in the Black Hills in the early 90's, I've been busy making portraits, photographing products, architecture, aerials, and most recently learning and practicing the old wet plate collodion photo process from the mid-1800's - So Cool! All while getting to live in such a beautiful place.

Some of the things I love doing if I'm not behind the camera are fishing, riding dirt bikes and my adventure bike, skiing, spending time with my family and friends, practicing martial arts, and enjoying craft IPA's. At our studio, we offer a variety of services to cater to your needs. Our main focus is on creating high-quality portraits that capture genuine emotions and expressions. In addition to portraits, we also specialize in commercial photography. This includes product photography, where we can help showcase your products in the best possible light, making them stand out in the market. Our industrial and architectural photography services are designed to highlight the beauty and grandeur of buildings and structures. For a unique perspective, we also offer aerial photography, capturing breathtaking views from above.

One of our most unique offerings is our wet plate collodion photography. This old chemical process, invented in 1850, involves sensitizing metal plates or glass plates with collodion and silver to create a one-of-a-kind image that lasts centuries. It's a fascinating process that produces truly unique and timeless photographs.

After the session, we'll review the images together and select the best ones for editing. Once edited, we'll provide you with high-quality digital files or printed copies of your photographs, depending on your preference.
